The character of Cassandra is one of Greek mythologys most fascinating, the unheard, tragic prophetess, knowing the future without the ability to change its course, a terrible curse the God Apollo laid upon her for deceiving him; her speech is quite moving: The noble defenders of their country against the vicious conquerors, who suffer equally but are not as happy and glorious as the defenders for they died as heroes for their people, a very sane attitude towards war, even today.
