Cleaning modern coins with a rock Tumbler. In part 2 ,I will show a tweek I performed on the 3 pound Chicago Tumbler to make it tumble faster. Also, cleaning material to put in with nickles to make them come out a little better.

  • Cool vid. Do you check the dates on the coins before you clean them so you don't clean any that may be colectable? Don't know why collectors want a dirty coin but they do?

  • @219erman I found bar keepers friend in walmart, and tried it on previously cleaned clad coins. I found it to work great! The coins in the soil around here seem to get rusty from the iron content. Thanks for the tip, never heard of bar keepers friend cleanser before.
