one time i was at my grandmas house and iwas with my sister and we saw one on a tree the closer i got to it the more creeper it looks then it starts hissing and opening its mouth and my sister and me ran off

this reminds me of when i was in florida and i saw one up in a tree and i just HAD to catch it , when i did it reached around and bit my hand and it did not let go for like, 15 min i was sitting there on the pavement and thinking.. wtf, i cant just rip it off me. left a well-noticable teethmarking around my hand for a couple of days. powerful jaws for such a small lizard. gotta love em, this happend at blabla-hotel ftlauderdale Florida :p

You deserved the bite... he kept warning you to leave him alone. You're also very lucky. Sometimes they carry millions of really harmful bacteria in their mouths including Ebola, Tetanus and Hepatitis... Consider yourself lucky!
