Christmas Bullshit

Christmas is a sham. We could easily restructure the holiday to be a more efficient and less-stressful event. We cling to tradition like crabs on a pube. It's okay to abolish or change something that doesn't work... and if you pay attention, American Christimas doesn't really work.

Well, I think a lot of people have some quasi-connection to the Lord during this time of year. It's in the songs, the cheesy nativity scenes, the star on the tree... but I agree, it's not prominent. It's subtle, and therein lies the problem on two sides: it's a religious holiday that lacks religious merit and attitude, and the subtle connotations of it is a thorn in the side of our secular society.

Well, I'm a bah humbug too. I hate christmas. A lot of money spent on a lot of crap for no good reason - part of the big problem of our consumer/consumption society that is decimating the world and feeding the greed of assholes.

im not religous,nor my family.christmas shouldnt happen in my home because the baby jesus was this reason for celabration.i dont know anybody that celabrates out of religion,just more of a family get together kinda like thanksgiving on steroids.
