Counter rotating turbines can spin the same drive train with more torque than one.
Power to the people. Create your own independence by combining various forms of electrical generation and the oil cartels no longer own you.

Every suburb house should have 2 or 3 of these . There are plan for such a device made of very thin stainless steel that rotates much faster in light breeze winds.
Coupled with efficient batteries they could power a home in summer and make nice decoration.

I like the wind power idea. Sure wish it would come to my house!!! Hey, doesn't that look kinda like a pair of blue jeans? LOL!! But if it works---cool!
