Im a rancher west of dfw. I doesn't do any one any good to harass surveyors. just ask them whats up and Be Polite. If they cant tell you call their office. Don't provoke an old man with a machete.

As a surveyor we has Federal rights, State right, City right and Country right etc. to find and verrify boundrys of land and such.

We the field crews are sent out to do this job by our boses, who are hired by other land owners to determine boundry lines..many times land owners move property corners..but they don't realize there are world wide corrd,. that we follow to set these or check these points. WE are just doing our jobs. Don't even threaten or herrass us.

The cops and the courts will side with the surveyors. The court will have no problem issuing a restraining order against you, and the police will have no problem escorting them on to your property if need be. Just let them do there job.

my comment was criticizing the guy with the camera, who's going around poking his nose in everyones buisness. hence, my comment. he didn't need to know where he lived, and, they were not on his property, therefore: he did not kick them off. learn to read before you explain shit to me i already know.

Giving the surveyors a hard time doesn't solve a thing. The camera guy was clearly trying to provoke and harass some guys just doing their job. And there was no threatening gesture that I saw with the machete or whatever that was, near the end of the video.
