Located near the western edge of Lake Okeechobee, Fisheating Creek is typically dry and not an ideal place to paddle. However, when the summer rains come the creek swells and fills the surrounding flood plain. Tall cypress trees dot the creek and lush plants explode into different shades of green. Enjoy the video!
is winter kayaking possible on fisheating creek? are the water levels high enough and how long is the paddle?

All depends on the water level. We got a fair amount of rain this winter. Google 'water level Fisheating Creek' and see what you find. Typically I've gone June or October.
