I think the real question here is whether this is honoring the president and whether or not we have honored all of the presidents in this way. I know kids used to sing songs to Ronald Regan and to Bill Clinton as well.

We should honor those who are in leadership over us, regardless of whether we agree with them politically or not. The line we need to be careful not to cross is that of honoring and worshiping.
