Legendary concert at the best metalfestival ever. I was there at age 17 and it's cool to see myself again in the crowd, hell yeah, that was a nice pit!

@6The6Deathbanger6 Maybe because Death Metal was still relatively fresh then, it still felt exciting & new & kinda uncommercialised? I was VERY lucky that I got to see Death in Dublin in 1989 on the Human tour, Obituary in 1990 for Cause of Death, Carcass on the Necroticism tour, Morbid Angel, Grave & Dismember on Covenant tour, Pantera open for Megadeth in 1992 and COMPLETELY blow them off the stage. Different energy level with these bands compared to some current metal bands I've seen.

MTV will never return to it's root,as really the art of the music video on mainstream airwaves & television screens across the globe,that dream is long dead thanks to all the advances in technology,the powers that be manipulating the youths of the 00's & beyond,I mean look wht MTV"s become since the early 90s,once a vibrant Music Video Channel that catered the very best in alternative rock/grunge & yes they put the olive branch out for death/thrash metal as we see here. The Glory Days Are Dead!
