"Lunch is served!" Mikhayla announced as Joe, Nick, Maddy and Gabby gathered on the couches beside the one Olivia lay on.
Olivia's temperature had slowly been going down, and she was now sound asleep under a blanket.
Mikhayla put down a tray full of all kinds of sandwiches down on the coffee table, placed in between the couches, as she sat down next to Joe.
"Thanks, Miks." Joe smiled.
"No prob," Mikhayla answered as she picked up a ham-and-cheese and bit into it. "Dig in, everyone!"
Everyone cheered as they each selected a sandwich.
Mikhayla looked around the room, swallowing her meal.
"Still no sign of Kevin or Briana?" She asked.
Everyone shook their heads.
"I hope they're okay..." Maddy said, after swallowing her PB&J.
"Yeah I heard what happened," Mikhayla shook her head sympathetically. "About Kevin turning away,"
"How do you know that?" Nick asked, raising one eyebrow and tilting his head to one side in confusion. Even when he was confused he was hot.
"Joe told me." Mikhayla answered, taking another bite out of her sandwich.
Nick, Maddy and Gabby glared at Joe. Their stares pricked Joe like spears, almost making Joe yell out the word 'Ouch!'
"What?" Joe asked, rubbing his arms from the imaginary pain. "It's not like I wasn't supposed to tell!" Then he munched on his sandwich.
"Insensitive," Nick coughed.
"Unbelievable," Maddy added with a sneeze.
"Henwa will he ever earnla," Gabby finished in Pig Latin.
"What? Wha'd I do now?" Joe asked with his mouth full.
"Ew," Gabby winced. "Didn't your mommy ever tell you not to speak with your mouth full?"
Joe shot Gabby a that's-not-the-point look as he swallowed his food.
"Joe, that thing that happened between the two was their privacy!" Maddy said, emphasizing 'privacy'. "How would you feel if you were in Briana's position, and someone blabbered about it to the whole freaking world, huh?"
Joe opened his mouth to respond, but Mikhayla beat him to it.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," She said, putting her hand to her heart.
"No, no, you don't have to be." Maddy held out the palm of her hand to show that Mikhayla was innocent.
Mikhayla was a nice girl. Maddy didn't know why Olivia was so worried. Or maybe that just was it -- she's so nice, and you never know when nice people can go bad. Like serial killers -- they're always the 'nice next-door neighbor' at first, but then, BAM they go and kill someone. (This, Maddy learned in her favorite cop shows.)
Who could tell, Mikhayla may seem like a perfectly harmless girl now, but she may suddenly go and kill... I mean steal Joe anytime now. Maddy decided to keep an eye on Mikhayla, too, just incase.
After 20 minuets or so of chewing and chatting, they finally finished their lunch.
"I wonder if Olivia's hungry," Gabby wondered, crossing her legs, relaxing on the couch.
Olivia, on the other hand, was still sound a sleep.
"You guys go on ahead and enjoy yourselves; I'll stay here with Olivia and make sure she's okay." Joe said, shooing everyone away with his hands.
"Oh Lord Joe's being responsible." Nick widened his eyes in shock. "Do you think it's going to snow?"
"What?" Joe asked, squinting.
"When unusual things happen, other unusual things tend to happen too," Nick explained.
"Are you saying that I'm usually irresponsible?" Joe gasped, putting his hand to his heart in shock.
"Makes perfect sense to me," Maddy mumbled.
"Me too," Gabby agreed.
"Har-har-har, very funny," Joe said sarcastically. "I'm serious about this. I don't know what I'd do without Olivia, and all I can do for her now is stay by her side. Now scat, people, go have fun."
"Fine, we'll go." Nick said. "But just so you know, that means three beautiful girls all for myself until Olivia recovers."
"Dang it!" Joe said to himself, making a fist.
"Come on ladies," Nick announced to the girls "Let's go look for the missing couple."
Nick, Maddy, and Gabby scurried outside.
Mikhayla walked up to the door, and looked back at Joe with a worried look on her face.
"Go," Joe said. "Have fun solving the mystery of the disappearing couple. Tell me all about it later."
Mikhayla smiled, and without a word walked out the door, leaving Joe and snoozing Olivia in the room.

Nick should be dating Maddy,I mean even though she used him she did like him though that's gotta count for something, I'm so happy that Kevin and Briana are together I hope he kissed her I'm dying to find out!
