HOWIE ON HOWARD: STERN'S A GOOD CHOICE FOR 'TALENT'

Radio show host Howard Stern is one of America's most polarizing personalities in the entertainment business. Aside from continuing to dominate radio with his radio show on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, he has had a hit movie at the box office and bestselling books. Stern now will have another credit to his amazing career later this summer when he joins the NBC hit reality series, America's Got Talent, on the judging panel.

When NBC announced that Stern would join the show, many family advocate groups were appalled, claiming that Stern shouldn't have been allowed to be on the series due to what some say is his outrageous behavior. We spoke to Howie Mandel, who is a judge on America's Got Talent, and also hosts and produces the reality show Mobbed which returns in February on FOX. Mandel told us that he loves that Stern is going to be a judge on the show. Mandel also told us that he is a fan and admires Stern, and that NBC made the right choice by hiring him.
