Before I saw this film I dreamed about seeing more films like king kong. When I first saw this movie, I was amazed. It's the perfect adventure film (the trip to a lost island, an evil magician, a magic lamp, underground caves, and of course stop motion monsters!) Ray Harryhausen is the grandmaster of sfx and he always will be.
