Syria - Human Rights Council urgent debate

UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay calls for the immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Syria. Speaking during a special debate on the human rights and humanitarian situation in Syria Pillay said she "I remain convinced that referring the situation of Syria to the International Criminal Court will be a step in the right direction."

She called for an immediate cease to all violence "...what is urgently needed today is for the killings to stop."

The Syrian Ambassador to the UN in Geneva Faysal Khabbaz Hamoui left the room in protest.

How long where you in a US prison for and say another nation's prison to know what you are claiming to know? Was it not the US that just recently invaded a country illegally looking for WMDs all the while knowing the evidence for such claims were completely fabricated and that invasion costs the lives of the local inhabitants in the hundreds of thousands as well as US servicemen/women in the thousands?
