All I can say is wow! Auron and Lulu are both sophisticated characters. Auron is an honourable warrior and Lulu is a stunning mage, they both balance each other. They both share a troubled past... long live Auron and Lulu... the love that was meant to be.

And yet part of what makes Auron such a compelling figure is that he's hanging on just long enough to fulfill his oaths, then he's gone.

While I occasionally imagine what might have been had he not left, the most beautiful aspect of Auron/Lulu, to me, is that it can't last: it's like the transitory beauty of a snowflake. Lulu might be tempted to try and seduce him (who wouldn't?), but if she succeeded, it would be a fleeting liaison at most.

Auron would be worth the heartbreak, but ouch.

I love Auron and Lulu, they  do the match. They the wisest in the group and they both complex and rather experienced like you previously stated.

I think they're my favourite FFX couple now :D

You gotta come by and catch up on "Love Her and Despair" sometime! It's up to chapter 25 now, and I think it's safe to say from reviews that readers are enjoying it. It's starting to pick up a lot of non-Auron/Lulu readers now, since there isn't enough good FFX fic still being written (also because it's got a lot more story to it than just that aspect).

Auron with Rikku is not attractive. Auron needs a women. A women like Lulu that will satisfy him in the bedroom. Rikku is juvenille and bubbly. Lulu needs a complex strong man to fulfill her needs like Auron.

Auron/Lulu. Tidus/Rikku. Yuna//Kimari Wakka some Besaid Island chic.

Rikku is the worst FF10 character. I find her to silly and blondish. She seems she's 12 yers old.

I'm not sure if Auron actually gives a damn about the bedroom, tempting though it is to imagine, but he and Lulu do seem kindred spirits: cynical, dangerous, experienced, intelligent, and far too acquainted with death.

Rikku initially struck me as rather shallow, but she IS very young. She's quite capable, adaptable, and has more wits than Wakka or Tidus. She's there to protect her cousin. I just don't see her as a match for Auron, because she's a bright young spirit.

I can't believe how often Auron and Rikku get paired! Don't people realise that Auron and Lulu are the one true couple?! I love the pairing so much^^ Rikku is better with Tidus.

well its sorta hard to be a couple if your a spirit plus i think auron would over power lulu  in the relationship...plus i think wakka and lul make a better couple cuz one a retard and the other is smart so it evens out..... plus have you seen lul and waka's baby? sooo cute
