Im so glad I live in England, cuz what Im hearin is crazy. Over here educated black women are very much into giving back to their community. Maybe in the states its different.

What I wonder is why successful black men like PDiddy, Jayz , lil wayne and all that such arent pumping funding and education into the hoods that made them?

They are very powerful financially and in the media but they just seem to be perpetuating a degrading image of black people.

these men dont value education. and they often poke fun at black men who choose to take the academic route. just look at kanye west. he first cd is filled shots at those who choose to use academics as if rappers make more combined than educated black men. they create the idea that education is not a viable option for black men.

As if modern day BW have not crapped on the past achievements of the forefathers of the black community? I love it! BW are the 1st to ask "what are bm going to do for the black community?" & then in the same breath say: "BW have been the foundation". If that was the case, then the call for black men to step up wouldn't be there. That's because the efforts of BM have been most requested first, black women come a far second in community activism. Modern BWs primary concern has been gender 1st.
