Today while doing a Live shot at the Right Wing GOP Value's Conference, an MSNBC Reporter was verbally harassed while reporting on the wing nut meeting. So much for freedom of the press. or 1st amendment rights. That's the GOP Way.

  • Further Info. The Conference Organizers set the press up in that location. This was the designated press spot.

  • Those RNC supporters give me such a warm feeling. These are the people who have been hammered in the head that mainstream news media is bad!

  • Like the reporter said, "Equal opportunity shouting down." Too bad freedom of the press is not a value, whether its on the left or the right. I could be wrong.

  • In the 2:00 minute mark, the MSNBC anchor talked over the reporter who said that a Fox reporter had to leave. My mistake on that part. And a wag of my finger at the participants who got irritated at both the Fox and the MSNBC reporter. As I found out, they were at a designated press spot.

  • They harassed Foxnews too.

The attendees just couldn't hear over their broadcast.

  • Exactly. Nora should've given the reporter a chance to respond. But we didn't get that. NO. A tip of my hat to the Fox anchor, and a wag of my finger at MSNBC's Nora O'Donnell.

  • The reporters (from both MSNBC and Fox) do NOT come out looking good in this. The people in the audience didn't like the noise... it's that simple. At least the Fox anchor was more diplomatic at the end than Nora O'Donnell on MSNBC who acted so haughty and pompous.

  • No wonder there was no freedom of the press at the conference, in other words, in the conference room during a speech, but they could've reported outside the conference room, whether it was Fox or MSNBC. I could be wrong.

  • No, you're wrong. I'm not a subjective left winger, and both the left and right are wrong. The problem was the other reporter was talking over the reporter being heckled at 2:00.
