@bakerbrown6 But what you dont understand is that it wasn't up to him. The label(Fat Mike) made him do it, that's why he was so upset. And in order to do the small shows he likes, he has to do stupid shit like SSXW. That's how the "music business" works. Part of his contract is that Fat Mike and the employees make the schedule, and all Ben has to do is follow it and play the music. Fat Mike and Fat Wreck Chords wanted "the extra dough," not Weasel. So he ranted, so what? Thats what I would do.

first off, i love ben weasel. i think he made a mistake and he has appologized for it. that being said, i saw the video of what happened and i gotta admit- what bothers me the most is what led up to the "fight". ben spouting off about how much he was getting paid, how many posers and opportunists were at the event, etc, etc. wtf?? remember ben's lyrics: "the show should be 5 bucks or less and do it for the kids?" if you dont want to get paid $250 then dont book it. but dont take it out on us

@scion6221 We're lovers!!! Weasel is one of my favorite bands. I just think that this song kinda sucks. But it's growing on me since I'm back here. But ye all that to say that Weasel isn't what it used to be.
