Golvellius - Stage Desba (Sega Master System)

The very beginning of Kelesis' quest to save Rena. The first demon boss he has to defeat is Desba (whose in-game name is Despa actually).

Note: The cyanish item that I collect at 1:53 is a small Randar statue that restores a small portion of Kelesis' HP. Randar is said to be Compile's mascot, but unfortunately I have enjoyed only less than a handful of games by Compile, yet. Therefore I only know him from this game.

[Alianger]

Randar (who looks a lot like Lolo btw :P) also makes an appearance as sort of a shopkeeper in Guardian Legend for the NES. The Hardcore Gaming 101 site has a great article on Compile's games.

Oh man, I love this game so thanks for posting. It's better than LoZ in many ways, even the soundtrack. The sidescrollikng stages could have been better though.

The soundtrack gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. And it's getting even better as the game progresses.
