The american people follow blindly and believe the CIA and stuff because most Americans dont know true history. In fact the U.S. "sweeps" under the rug, any history not condusive to their greedy agenda. The CIA was caught RED-HANDED in the Iran Contra affair shipping and dealing cocaine to the U.S. and now, if you ask joe on the street about it, they will look at you with a blank expression!
It happened but that part of history was conveniently glossed over.

I heard someone say "the CIA confirms it, so it's true" This type of thought is very revealing into the psyche of the average American. Believe without question, trust the news, trust the CIA. WHy should we trust the CIA when they've failed us time and time again. What's the point of intelligence gathering if they can't prevent these "terrorist" attacks? Maybe they don't want to. Either way, why should we trust them? Where as logic escaped to? Where have critical thinking skills gone?
