Record flooding from Pacific Alma and Atlantic Arthur causes devastation along the Sittee River/North Stann Creek River completely washes away the 23 year old Kendal Bridge. This is the only bridge that connects southern Belize to the rest of the country. Belize has experienced record flooding and destruction calamities. River levels are higher than those of 1998's hurricane Mitch. We are in desparate need of a temporary bridge to connect us back to the rest of the nation.
