  • NNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

    ANTHEM

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind Well, not everybody over 30 is familiar with all names of a modern comic strip. Futurama may be well known among younger people, but is not comparable with Disney characters, Tin-Tin, Asterix, Tom and Jerry etc., thus not part of general knowledge. An addition like "Zapp Brannigan (Futurama)" would be helpful.

  • @tubi333 I thought enough people would be familiar with Zapp Brannigan that they know it's a tongue in cheek comment. Guess that saying about assuming stuff is true!

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind The neutrals in that episode are portrayed even as neutral-minded (not only neutral in wars) which I despise too. However, we can see again how useful it can be to add a ;-) after a rhetoric comment. If I had known that it was meant ironically, I would have taken on the irony.

  • @tubi333 My first comment was a Futurama quote. Watch the episode 'Brannigan, Begin Again'

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind I once watched some parts. Why?

  • @tubi333 Not a fan of Futurama?

  • @AnimalNitrateInMind Study our whole history, you simplifier!!! When it came to their existence, the Swiss always knew to fight! In WW2 we were surrounded but ready, Churchill said this very clear! In which war did you miss us? Iraq? Falklands? Crimea? South Africa? American colonies? Suez campaign? O sure, as such a huge country as we are, we would have made the difference everywhere, esp. in WW1 against pettinesses like Germany and Austria-Hungary.

  • You filthy neutrals! With enemies, you know where you stand! Neutrals could go either way...-Zapp Brannigan
