  • Hi, very informative videos.

Should I wait for the HDC-SD900(the hard drive version, I'm not sure which one it is) or should I go with the 700 like you have? Thanks in advance

  • @eventhorizonbm The new SD900 or TM900 or HS900 would be the preferred option as it's newer and has a couple of better features, although video quality is identical in normal to good light.

  • @OnlineVideoExpert

Thank you. I guess I'll wait for it's release. Also, would the HS9000 be my best option for shooting fast moving RC airplanes in flight?

  • @eventhorizonbm Both the HS700 & HS900 shoot in 1080/50p which will gives high quality for faster moving objects at opposed to the 'standard' PAL 25p modes.

  • @OnlineVideoExpert Aside from the 3D, is there anything the 900 series of camcorders offer that the 700 do not? ie - if I don't care for 3D, is there any reason from me to buy a 900 over a 700? Thanks! :)

  • @wonderpookie My understanding is that the 900 is 'better' (not sure how much) low light performance and a slightly bigger LCD screen, otherwise very similar, so if the 700 is considerably cheaper, it will be a good camcorder to go for.
