Thank you US Army Lt Ehren Watada for refusing to fight an illegal war. I was at San Francisco China Town with Betty Kano and other supporters. I represented myself as a member of "OKINAWA PEACEFIGHERS" and sent some messages of Okinawa to the Chinese people.

Janice Mirikitani, former poet laureate of San Francisco and the executive director and president of the Glide Foundation, one of the largest social services providers in the city, also spoke in support of Watada.
"It's important for us to let our voices be heard," Mirikitani said. "The government is running amok. We cannot allow them to continue illegal acts against the people... we must stand up for true patriots like Ehren Watada." Other speakers included Luke Hiken of the National Lawyers Guild's Military Law Task Force and Sunao Tobaru, an Okinawan activist. from Nichibei Times.
