Let's see........How do you test your abilities with Events, and make a tribute to one of the best SHMUPS of all time? Answer:
R-99RS "Radiant Starr"

Granted, it isn't an analog to the Radiant Silvergun fighter, but it does have the sword.
The reason I made this one of my "R-series" bosses, is because Radiant Silvergun is similar to R-type Final. Both fighter ships can't turn around, both can be overpowered, both have semi-anticlimactic final bosses, and both have Downer endings.

Nice fight.

I love R-Type, even though they had to end everything in Final. I do admit that the endings in the game weren't that great, but the game play is awesome. It would be kinda cool to make a ship that uses all Wave Cannons known, like the R-99, R-100, R-101 ships.

I think you can create ships in R-type final.

Also, Yes, the fight was interesting, besides me showing new levels of suckiness. However, I was going to add a little bit in the end, similar to the ending of Ghosts Our Lore( Infinitus) but with a You-Might-End-Up-Dead-Like-Me spiel instead of an I'll-Be-Back-For-A-Rematch. With the 8-bit version of the song playing.

look up my R-9 boss on the fraxy compendium, I did my best lol, that was before events even existed, plus the R13 (delta) was the best i think it was renamed r-11 in final, but its still R-13 in r-type tactics.

I saw it. In fact, that's what motivated me to make my first R-Series boss, the R-Orochi.

Also, I think there's a feature in R-type final that allows you to make your own custom ship.

it was one of the final ships that needed you to complete the game with most of the other ships and play 100+ hours, not really create your own ship but choose bit type, force type, beam type and missle type

Thanks. This was the first time I used the "Sword Swing" Mechanic, so I couldn't put in the large swords it swing. I made them, they're just not in the boss.

Nice boss. Irem left R-Type Final ripe for a sequel with F-C. You get to the end, back to the beginning and then... (insert new game here)
