thats how you clean the deck!

I'm glad I joined the Army. I couldn't imagine working on helicopters on a pitching deck. Anyone know if that Seahawk survived without damage?

I was a Damage Controlman working with other shipmates in the focsle to stop flooding when this happened. The impact of this wave was so great shipmates were tossed off the deck, one of which had to be COD off the ship.

Looks like the North Atlantic. :)

I pity the poor guys in the destroyer escorts. That must have been a ride...

Might want to rinse off that helicopter before using it.

Now this thing is the modern day Titantic only without the icebreg of the sinking part

I was aboard the Kitty Hawk in spring of 1967, when the captain decided, "to hell with the torpedoes, full speed ahead," and took us through a typhoon. There was green water over the flight deck and we lost all forward life rafts. I, personally, lost my breakfast, lunch and dinner.
