#Ouruni: The impact of social networks on austrian students protest in 2009

Like in Iran and the hashtag of #iranelection the impact of social networks on austrian student protest cannot be underestimated. The protest that began in a single university in Vienna spread over Austria and great parts of Europe. Social networks helped to mobilize hundreds of thousands of students, pupils and education workers to protest together against education conditions, commercialization and for the democratication of institutions.

This video is documentation about the - continuing - struggle to fight for better education in europe and should serve as inspiration for similar movements....
