Mule Appaloosa cross for sale in TX

Hoot is free jumping, taught by clicker training methods. He is a gelding 13h, 10 yrs. old adorable mule with all the color characteristics of an Appaloosa,including a full blanket and all 4 striped hooves and even has a beautiful tail! He is a dun w/ stripes on legs, straight legs, travels correctly, trained and eager to learn more. I have never had a mule before and was so surprised at how smart and easy mules are to train. The previous owners and their child rode him, hunted off of him but I bought him to drive, which he was also trained to do. His long stride would probably keep up with larger sized horses. His gait is smooth and fancy. With a bold, inquisitive attitude, Hoot will go anywhere you ask.. up on the patio, over logs, etc. He will also coon jump, allow you to pick up all four feet without a halter, walk by your side, stop, back, continue to walk, all without a halter,bath, fly spray, etc. It didn't take long to bond with him, as he enjoys human contact and is a willing learner. He readily comes to you when you call him from the pasture. He is up to date on all shots, teeth have been floated and has barefoot trims regularily. If you would like to see more videos of him coon jumping, touching cones on command, standing on a mat, driving in long lines and a child riding him, I will be happy to forward videos to you. My cart does not fit him, so he is not hitched in the pictures. I feel his potential has just been tapped, as I do not have experience with mules and believe it would be so much more beneficial if I did.
