"Imagine you are me"...

My dad retired and moved out to the country. Over time I discovered he lost his connection with me (his family and friends) and with his health (he stopped exercising).

So I set him up with a web cam, and we now exercise weekly together from the comfort of our own homes. We focus on joint mobility, flexibility and core strength using light weights, our own body and sometimes resistance bands.

This is the first video I made for him to watch so he can get an idea on what we'll be doing (and why).

My theory on exercise is that we don't need to be going full tilt, listening to fast music, counting reps and working up a sweat. I think if we slow down, close our eyes, listen to our breathing pattern, bones cracking & muscle tearing we'll become more connected with our physical form, it's limitations and it's strengths. It's almost like meditation and dance combined.

When done in the dark and focusing on breathing it's like a mental vacation from the busy lives we live. 5:30 seconds into this video I get the feeling we are after. It's like a mix of adrenaline and pure calmness. Once you feel it you'll know what I mean.

After doing this style of exercise... I feel more energy, spiritually healthy and physically fit.

I have no desire to build bulky muscle. Having a lean build will be better for my future health... and yours.

Please share this and spread the word. I'll be uploading more videos going forward.

Thanks Landmark - Dan
