I put this together from the 1997 DECUS in Anaheim for the OpenVMS Ambassadors meeting. DEC ruled! This was originally edited to the song "21st Century Digital Boy" by Bad Religion, but the YouTube copyright police took it down. I see other videos on YouTube with the same soundtrack that seem to escape the YouTube gestapo...
Ah, I was here, too

@imachias I was at DECWorld Boston as an exhibitor (AlisaTalk Mac-VAX integration). How well I remember it, with the two ships (QE2 and the Oceanic). Unbelievable! I "dropped in" on my way back to our Pasadena, CA offices from a Europe tour with Apple.

Without sound, you can't tell if they are nerds or geeks. Look borderline into the nerd zone to me.

I am currently working as a 2-year temp. at the Hewlett Packard plant in Andover, thanks to Careerbuilder. There are plenty of old dusty cobwebby things with the DIGITAL logo in every corner of the building, including something called an Alphawave Server; I can't help but find this very interesting.

I worked at DECworld in Boston AND I worked on the internal magazine DECWORLD in the late 1980s. :) I miss my Rainbow 100+ and my VAXstation

I wish DEC were still around :-( They made the best stuff. This comment was made on a DEC venturis FP 575 and next to it is a VAXstation 4000 model 60
