@videogamenostalgia The correct pronunciation is "Lapis La-zew-lee" which is basically same as "La-zoo-lee" , but only shorter "o" in the word "zoo".

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but in that Cardplayer's house, you see a bit of a closeup of the birds :3

First time in Lindblum, you see the happy birds, Lindblum gets destroyed and there's only eggs...as a kid I was really sad about that :( and then you return to Lindblum now and you see the happy birds with the newborn chicks.

I don't know, I was always happy to see them whenever I play :3
