For Sale !

The arrangement for this 38er is by Gustav Bruder. He arranged it for Carl Frei. Keller & Kern purchased the masters from Carl Frei. The music book for this song, "Caricioso Italien" by Tchaikovsky is 50 meters long. The whole piece lasts about 13 minutes.
It also is one of my favorites.

Mr Van Boxtel is in his late eighties, and has been retired for some time now.

It's sad that a fantastic band (fairground) organ is in a collection in someone's home, and not as part of a carousel at an amusement or theme park. They are just out to make a buck on a roller coaster or whatever that will being today's guests in. Great sounding instrument.

@javaan83 Crescent park carousel and spokane carousel has a 38

@javaan83 I know - Andrew Pilmer certainly did a tedious job punching them all on a foot-operated punch!
I wonder if Marcel van Boxtel is still working for Voigt?
@ Pierement 1: I don't think this particular Ruth style 38 is for sale right now. This is the mighty Ruth style 38 from the Krughoff collection. You might be meaning the Ruth style 38 from the Milhous collection. If I'm wrong, let me know!

@anglerfly From what I know is that Myrtle Beach also owns a Ruth & Sohn fairground- concertorgan style 38. If you look closely the facades are different from each other. This organ is located in the Krughoff Collection, Chigago - IL.

Is this a Wayne Holton arrangement?

Hi Ted, no this is an original factory arrangment by Ruth. Those original arrangements are still available but only at the Voigt factory in Germany which company bought all the materials and music rights after the closing of the Ruth factory.

@javaan83 I thought the arrangement was by Gustav Bruder?

It is absolutely possible that this particular arrangement comes from Gustav Bruder. The only thing I wanted to point out is that all the music arrangements which belonged to the Ruth company are now owned by and can only be purchased at the Voigt company.
