@travisitio You just proved my point. You said "in some cases" the regular season doesn't matter. Therefore, meaning the regular season still has an impact on the playoffs both for the teams and the players. If the regular season doesn't matter at all then why bother having one? After the 2006 Finals I barely keep up with NBA anymore. It's such a league-controlled sport now and the players are all spoiled pansies. You want to see real competition stick to college basketball.

At that point celts were the first team since the 03 spurs to win a title with the best overall record...Did your ass forget how close that game 7 was against the cavs...that game could have gone either way.

@themavsfan1992 Really? I would think for mavs fans that losing in the finals would be more painful. Mavs had a 13 point lead with exactly 6:54 to go in the fourth quarter in game 3 and they already had a 2-0 lead....and then wade goes crazy....and the rest is history.
