rather long left foot pivot on tha corners by tha korean dude, wonder what that was about

So much pressure u need pressure and speed and that stuff and also u need speed to lean that much and also to not fall like how ahn didn't keep pressure and also pivoting and speed haha

@23NaLi I totally agree

Have you noticed how people ALWAYS complain about Korean skaters getting pushed? :P Don't get me wrong, I like the korean skaters (they absolutely dominate), and I love South Korea, but it's getting really old hearing how their fans think they are always getting cheated. It happens to everyone! Besides, they still blow the competition away don't they? :)

shut up

korean players always get pushed BUT the people who push the koreans never get disqualified.
but when koreans play by the rules, they get disqualified.
that's the dirtiness of this sport

STATISTICS CALCULATION - from
BR-0 com/olympics htm
I see it, and the ice wasn't good- I was there- lots of slips all weekend.
But what I see is a skater using his favoured leg and being really careful and hanging a long time- if it were his right leg nobody would notice- but he's a lefty. I don't think we can deduce he stripped and right blade edge is all I'm saying. he just looks exactly like he does when he's warming up his left hang. I think people assumed he stripped and edge- but I have yet to get it confirmed.

- he had already qualified for Torino olympics before this competition, so I still believe it's possible he was just warming up on his first 500m heat- I never saw him loose and edge on the right anywhere in the race -either way it's an astonishing bit of left leg work that everyone must try and do.

BigHoogie - I really want to ask you how do you know this??- I heard a few people say this but could never get it confirmed- Were you there on the day?? - I have seen Ahn do very similar drills in warmups just to really warmup his left ankle- I HAVE to do the same thing when I first go on the ice to really warmup my left ankle control
