In January 2011 I booked passage on a container ship, the M/V Hanjin Baltimore, crossing the North Pacific from Seattle, WA USA to Shanghai, China, with intermediate ports of call in South Korea and Taiwan. The crossing took 24 days and covered 7744 miles; I was the only passenger. This is what it looked like.

It was the dream of my late American father to do freighter travel. I have never done sea travel and am not sure I would like it, and I wonder what this cost? I do lots of travel videos on two YT channels, also do Dailymotion, and have a website. Thank you very much. Uprated. This sure looks better than one of those cruise ships. @slobomotion Thanks I enjoyed the Toby & Sam video, all shot in their cabin. "Look at the horrible water. Horrible, horrible." :) I met a NY couple very like them on a river boat in Thailand later on this same trip.
