  • @catkittyneko i think it means

    blue lips=some are dead,

    blue veins= some are alive

blue, the color of are world from far, far away=but we are all the same

  • One or two people make a Homestuck reference, and the rest of the fandom is like "We're usually a lot cooler than this." 30 TIMES. I found this because of the Eet AMV, and the uploader said "NO HOMESTUCK REFERENCES ON THE ORIGINAL VIDEO!!" I had no idea why, but I see all of you acting like a bunch of children, and now I think I understand. I didn't even like Equius, must we decorate his fictitious death instead of realizing this song means we're all equal? Homestuck fan or not?

  • Does it really matter if your listening to this because your a home stuck fan or a Regina Spektor fan? God people just listen to the beautiful song right there and let it go.

  • I may be a homestuck fan, but I learned about this song far before I ever started reading homestuck

  • i cant described what happens when i listen to her songs its like every thing is clear but far and im the ground and i feel how nature feels if that makes sense >.<

  • Knew and loved this song before Homestuck. Saw the title to that video and I just KNEW it was going to be depressingly beautiful.

  • YES! She teaches us to look for the beauty even in the pain. In "Conversations With God", Neale Donald Walsch asks God where to look for the soul. The reply: "In the wound".

  • I'm a homestuck fan. I first learned of this song from the homestuck fandom, I admit. Despite that, I see this song as what it should be seen as: a beautiful song with a meaning in the real world.

On a different topic, I'm likely gonna be trying out to sing this solo in the next school chorus concert!! Can't wait until tryouts :) On that topic, does anyone know where I could find piano music for this song? I'll need it for my tryout. Thanks in advance! :D

  • I know! Songs should tell stories, all of Regina's do. They're so interesting! And you can take the story and give it your own meaning and relate to it. Even if it's about something sad, she manages to make it beautiful. Why aren't all songs that way?

  • i love that singer. her songs are unique because there are like a story not like a ordinary songs.

    they are just amazing

  • @nolakali Oh yeah, that would make sense ;)

  • No,
