The whole film itself looks like it just been filmed 1963, instead of 2008, or whenever it was filmed. Colin Firth did amazing in "A Single Man", too.

True, it isn't in the novel, but I thought it was a nice addition. It wasn't anything that detracted from the original story.

Anyone who sees this can not deny how spectacular of an actor Colin Firth is. I sincerely hope he wins the Academy Award for this. I know he won the BAFTA and I completely think he deserved it. This is my new favorite film of all time.
