I think the stock should be shorter I think the recoil might be better but other than that it is a very sexy gun.

Is it allowed to foreigners, that kind of weapon?. I will be in Patumwan in 9 days, is it near there and do they have M16/M4 A1 rifles to rent by the magazine?

The UMP was always one of my favorite Submachine guns not just because it packs more stopping power then the MP5, but it can be chambered for 3 diffrent calibers.
UMP45 holding 25 rounds of .45 caliber ACP rounds, or it can be moddifed to the UMP40 holding 30 rounds of .40 caliber S&W rounds, or the UMP9 holding 30 rounds of 9x19mm parabellum.(which is what the MP5 uses)

About 1500 THB for 1 hour shooting. Bullets, 10 THB each. And as seen, bullets will be finish very fast.
