SHE IS THE BEST ACTRESS EVER. I can´t understand the "Meryl Streep Mania" Glenn would be perfect in the character of Miranda in Devil wear Prada. Hey Hollywood here you have the best actress ever!! Call her for more roles, WE WANT MORE GLENN CLOSE IN THE MOVIES!!

Glenn Close is more than just amazing actress, she is just over the TOP, every single role she plays you do not see her, she becomes the person itself, she makes the role alive, she doesn't act, she just transforms into the character. I've seen a lot of good actress but nothing close to Glenn Close. I love her very much, she is the reason I keep watching Damages and can't wait for her new role as Alfred Nobbs. I see at least a Golden Glove and Oscar nominations for her. Thank you Glenn Close!

I don't think the role of miranda priestly would have been good enough for Glenn! it's not really worth her talent i mean...i like the movie but its too soft for her... She's a phenomenon! meryl is sympathetic but Glenn is THE actress! <3

@vizdi14 I disagree. I love Glenn, but she tends to ham it up a little with the over-the-top acting when playing a villain or powerful woman. No one could've discreetly, quietly, yet aggressively, authoritatively played Miranda Priestly the way that Meryl did. I thought of Glenn in the role and I think she would've done what every1 else would've, which is play Miranda as a bellowing, loudmouthed taskmaster, who screams to get what she wants. I love Glenn, but Meryl was perfect.

@Valapaca She's had some great roles - I'm still mad she didn't win for the Marquise de Merteuil in 'Dangerous Liaisons' - but the Academy voters just don't know what they're doing. LOL.

I do agree she should get some more new roles - I'd like to see her more.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con muchas de las opiniones aqui vertidas. Yo tampoco entiendo esa manía por Merly Strep, Glenn CLose es mucho mejor actriz, baste recordar sus grandes papeles. Creo que es junto con Katherine Hepburn una de las mejores actrices americanas, y es una pena que no se prodigue más en las pantallas. Glenn es al cine americano lo que es Catherine Deneuve al europeo. Dos actrices como la copa de un pino.
