Barney, my Golden Retriever's Swimming Demonstration

At the time of this recording (Aug 2009) Barney is my 8 month old Golded Retriever. We introduced him to our pool about a month ago and we can't keep him out of it when we go swimming. I also have a 2 year Golden Retriever named Bailey. He's a chicken when it comes to water! Although he gets jelous when Barney swim. Barney and Bailey are there names...hey, it's a Barney and Bailey Circus...get it! Lol! I absolutely loves these dogs to death!!!

it will be a lot lot of fun when both of them swim..they would compete in chasing the ball...(you didn't teach Barney ,ha..)that't why he's jealous..George...it's your fault..

Hi Rez. Actually it's Barney that loves to swim and Bailey that's afraid. Bailey's the one barking in the back ground. When Bailey was 10 wks old, I let him in the once, but never let him in again as he gets a lot of fur in the water, which gets into the filter. But since Barney loves it so much, I just couldn't deny him. So you're rignt, it's my fault. I'm slowly re-introducing Bailey to the pool, but he's still scared. He does have a "baby" pool though. hi! would you teach Bailey to dive?? coz i actually saw a video that a Golden retriever divng.. it was cool. nice video though. hi Barney chill buddy. hope he'll swim again , not the fur huh :)
