@axetogrinde He was the more surreal Lector. Which in itself might be the most scary.

loved both cox and hopkins as lecter. i did prefer hopkins but only in the silence of the lambs - cox wipes the floor with anthony's work in hannibal and red dragon (though i still like hopkins' stuff in those films too). there are some lines that i think hopkins couldn't have done (and mostly didn't do) better than cox, epecially "it feels good, will, because if one does what god does enough times, one will become as god is." gives me chills.
