There is absolutely nothing wrong with embracing Jay. I guess a lot of us will always make the assumption that he is a bad guy. But those who are fortunate enough to know him as a person falls in love with him. People always question why Beyonce is in love with him. He is a great person!!!!, and people who knows him says so, so those who don't doesn't change his earnings.

I'd bet everything I have that 90% or more of Oprah's audience doesn't have the slightest understanding of rap, JayZ, and while they may be empathetic to his life in the projects, will still not be able to gather any clue as to why fans listen, embrace, and love hip-hop and JayZ's music. This interview will be meaningless if they don't discuss Oprah's issue with rap/rappers.

What do you guys mean when you say he degrades black women? Because I don't recall him generalizing a particular race nor do I recall him saying all women were bitches and hoes. I've heard women call other women worse. Besides only a bitche, a hoe, etc would get offended because they know it applies to them, women who know they aren't those things don't even care to waste energy on it. He also has positive songs about women so if you're gonna point out the negative, point out the positive also.

Jay=best? Opinion... That's not really the point here. Oprahs a hypocrite. She attacks luda about his lyrics on a show for the movie Crash and she refused to let Ice Cube on her show for his barber shop movies and that black n white tv series. It really seems as if she only takes a liking to hip hoppers who are socially accepted by white society. She's mentioned Outkast as well, and why? They're more socially acceptable. Its her business if she does it like that, but she deserves flack 4 it.
