What chords is he playing? It seems like a G and maybe a C (?) with and E during chorus. Any opinions? I can't play guitar so good and I'm looking for easy to play chords and the Boss seems to have nailed it.
G to C, majors to D where its not a major put you are putting your middle finger on second fret G string, index finger on first fret B string, open E string... thats the verses... on the pre-chorus it is Cmaj, then pinky finger third fret B string, index finger second fret A string while strumming just the A/D/G/B strings, do the same thing for the next chord which is the same one except the A string is open... hang on, running out of characters... to be continued
during the opening harp part, he is playing basic G to C and that opened up partial D I explained earlier... the second time around instead of that D, he simply keeps his fingering with the C and slides up two frets to create a quasi-D... now, to contiune from where I left off... the next chord after the open A string chord in the pre-chorus sequence is another of those D chords... after he says "born To Run" he goes G C and that D, just like the top...
Honestly... I would continue but this version is horrible, I hate it. basically the bridge is just F to C, boring as fuck. If you ant to know a beginning guitar way to play the album version let me know and Ill give you a hand, or I can show the whole thing, complications at all if you want. Just please let me stop listening to this because Im not a Bruce fan much, especially when he sounds like this LOL. Hope I was helpful for you, keep playing!
