Your locs matured beautifully! I started my locs on April 22, 2011! I am so excited because your videos inspired me! My hair is the same length starting out as your hair was the 1st 6 months!
Question...I have some comb coils that keeps unraveling at the back of my head! What do I do about those! Do I go get those retwisted in between times! I get it retwisted every 3-4 Weeks! What would you suggest????

You had a great start to ur locs. I saw ur 2 year update and they are simply gorgeous. I am 1 month in on my journey and I had a question about moisture. I see a lot of people on YouTube recommending wetting/ spritzing the hair daily w/ water w/ or w/o essential oils, but my loctician speaks against it. Did u wet ur hair on a regular basis when u first started?

@greyrein locs love water! and locs loc faster with moisture. at least they did for me. water encourages tangling, which is exactly what you want. i wouldn't let my hair stay wet, though. let your locs dry thoroughly-- especially before you go to sleep, or if you plan to cover them for a long period (before you go to sleep, for instance). that will help keep them from getting moldy.

When u started with the comb coils, how long did u wait to wash your hair? I just started and I was told not to wash until my hair lock. Thanks!

i washed it two weeks later, and all was well. i just retwisted as needed, and kept it moving.
