The IRL had one of their best crowds of the year in their first appearance at venerable Mid-Ohio sportscar course, continuing it's long-stated goal of preserving America's oval racing tradition and helping local dirt track drivers make it to Indy. But wait, is there a conspiracy afoot?

  • until they get turbo charged engines, This series sucks ass!!! The cars sound like shit.

  • The only thing that FAILS is the IRL. Its going down in flames, lower ratings than last year for the 500 AFTER the aleeged "unification" (more like bastardization/destruction of CCWS)? HAHAHAHAHAHA. Tony Georges bank account draining subsidies will be the final nail in the coffin of IMS and the IRL and NASCAB will be the only motorport morons know about in the USA in a a couple years. Mark my words. I love the fact I will be here to watch the IRL ultimately fail.

  • Hey guys, you know who this brillaint caller is? ME! Thank you very mucha...................

  • dont forget come back to all the great tracks, get a good marketing program get more sponsors and exposure,

  • IRL? VERSUS? Enough said, a joke.

  • change the name of the series, allow more chassis makes (and get rid of the dallara or force em into making a new one) and make the chassis look like the CART ones because they'll be the only ones to hold the turbos they need to put in, open up to the engine manufacturers, and bring back the big named drivers and open wheel racing will be close to what they were in the 90s. oh and make it happen very soon. 2011 may be too late
