only reason why i ask is cause if i use this sit and program to post links on videos as direct download links i don't want to turn my cpu and or mac off and then get blown up saying link is b s and people being mad that i post bad links or links that only work when i am online

so does the file program aka w.e actual upload its self to online servers or the website so if your computer off people can still use that link to download it or do you have to be online in order to use a link that some one using drop box posting a download link, and download it. or when you copy it to public does it automatically upload its self and now any one can use that link to download any time of the day and year like 5 years down the road will it still work, sorry curious.

yes even if your computer is off the "file" is on the dropbox server.. when your computer back on and program running.,. it detects changes and syn to be the same on all devices.
