At the end of apartheid in South Africa, four photographers, The Bang Bang Club, captured some of the most compelling pictures of the transition to democracy.
Unlike other photographers, members of the 'Bang Bang Club' ventured into black townships to witness scenes of bloody battles. Spurred on by adrenaline, they placed their lives in danger to capture the events that most whites were unaware of.

The filthy disgusting protestant seed landed in poor South Africa, Calvanist and Lutheran scum who thought they were superior. Great to see white South Africa die slowly....enjoying every moment of it.

Joao da Silva lost his legs on Afghanistan last year. We are watching and learning about our generation heroes D:, these people are workin as we speak!

The new movie about them seems so authentic after watching this documentary feature. These guys have done good work in the sense of uncovering the horrible civil-war like situation that the township people were faced with everyday - and the average white South Africa didn`t even (want to) know about this until people like them reported it.

Photographers and cameramen in any conflict are always taken for granted. It takes guts and sometimes madness to do their job. I wouldn't want to be one.
