@languy99 Looking at Malware Research Group's statistics, I'd say it has the Ikarus engine, whether that includes Emsisoft Anti Malware or not is a mystery to me.

@languy99 BPS uses its own engine - and very good it is too

Bluepoint looks like its improving. The only thing that annoys me is the popup when it doesnt know a file. it doesnt give any real information on the file so it seems kind of pointless. the setup monitoring thing is also kind of annoying. if they got rid of these, i may consider trying it

@BluePointSecurity Hey BluePoint, can you answer question about why it didnt block EICAR files when I tested it against them? :-S

To select the entire URL in the browser, simply do a single click. If you click again it will select a part of the URL (that happens when you double click).
anyone know what AV engine Bluepoint uses, they say it's cloud and that's fine but what one are they using? I looked a little online but I didn't really go digging deep.

Ah, gotcha. It does use a bit of RAM although it's tough to find a system with less than a gig or two these days. Performance wise, CPU/Disk is what you can really "feel" when it's being slammed, that's where most of the optimization went. We put a lot of work into making sure the system feels pretty light, even while scanning the system should feel pretty light compared to other solutions. CPU utilization stays quite low during scan as well. Sent you a key for testing purposes.

@BluePointSecurity Yeah it does feel light but I would like ran usage to be lowered a little, I have seen full security suites use much less. This is just something for you guys to work one, that is all. Thanks for the key, much appreciated. I was surprised on how well it worked on zeroday malware.

Just thought of something, you were unable to get into the Temporary Internet Files folder (Access Denied) because HitMan had a lock on that folder when you left it open with the threats displayed. So BluePoint was also unable to access that folder and delete the threats contained there. I believe that's the reason they weren't deleted.

@BluePointSecurity That is true the second time but the first time when I scanned I was not running hit man pro and it still did not delete everything. also, If you guys can make it lighter on the system ( ram wise) it will be even better.
