Do you know what happens when a member of the working poor without insurance needs a doctor? He/she goes to the ER at our county hospital and gets very expensive treatment they can't pay for. Do you think the hospital just forfeits that unpaid fee? Hell no! They pass it on to you through higher Med charges so YOU and YOUR insurance get to pay in the end. The Obama plan would give all health care everyone could afford. We all pay in the end as it is now.

currently businesses are paying the costs for the existing private insurance plans. If you want to save them money (and keep them in business) lowing the cost of the plans they provide their employees would be a good start.

The Health care option is just that an "Option" If you like the plan you now have,keep it. (option=choice) Premiums have doubled in the Bush years while coverage has been decreased.Lobbyists for the insurance Co. love this. Premiums have grown 3 times faster than wages for working middle class Americans in 10 years. Insurance for self-employed small businessmen have risen 74% since 2001 and have led to bankruptcy. Thats jobs lost. 45.7 million working Americans have no health insurance.

When has goverment done anything right except the military. They bankrupt Social Security and Medicare. They sent my moms job to Mexico. Here is an idea. Goverment needs to stay out of our lifes. I take care of my family and myself. I dont need the goverment. Liberty To All. Patrick Mchenery gets that. I am glad he is my congressman. Feel sorry for the rest of you.

I'm so sick of hearing all this crap about "Universal Healthcare." There is no "right way" for Universal Healthcare. This whole system is going to topple the American economy and put small businesses out of business. America can't afford another screw up by the American Government. NO UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE!
