At a recent town hall meeting Rep. Ryan claimed to support ending subsidies for oil companies, yet one week later he voted to continue billions in these taxpayer handouts. A recent Newsweek investigation also revealed that Rep. Ryan, his wife and father-in-law have made hundreds of thousands off the oil companies whose tax breaks he continues to support. He has also proposed a 2012 budget that gives oil companies billions more in special tax breaks. More here: http://bit.ly/mg5go4

I'm not into name calling at all of any right or left side, but him and his crew are pure Sociopaths who know not what they do.

One face is good enough for most of us. Why does Paul Ryan need to be 2-faced? Is he ashamed of one of them? The greedy, selfish face, perhaps? This man will be a flash in the pan of American politics. He already cost his party a major seat in Congress that was sacrosanct for the GOP, and now is in Democratic hands! (NY26)

Rofl you complain about the Democrats raising money but not about the Koch brothers spending hundreds of millions of dollars (as high as 400 million) to try to buy the election for the Republicans to further their big oil agenda.

This theory is flawed heavily. It assumes that corporations/rich people won't act greedy and want simply to maintain their profit margin. The problem is that many (obviously not all but a good number of them) corporations/wealthy people just want to squeeze out every bit of profit for themselves with no regard for ethics or people. When you give them subsidies (like the oil companies which received government subsidies while posting RECORD PROFITS) or tax breaks, they just pocket the extra cash.

Let me ask you something. Who employs people? Cutting taxes for the rich means the rich have more money to hire people, thus both you and the richer person benifit. If you raise taxes on the rich, their available money goes down and they will have to lay people off to keep the same profit margin. Thus, Cutting taxes on the rich will increase employment and therefor, benifit both the economy and people who recieve jobs from said action. understand?

Obama is attempting to raise 1 billion dollars for re election. I thought the liberal argument is republicans are selfish and letting kids starve, so why do you guys not go after Obama to give that money to hungry and starving children? perhaps it does not matter cause he is a liberal?

just a thought. <3 After all, Liberals are ALL ABOUT fariness and civility right?

Hey Republican PAUL RYAN...Remember the scene in ANIMAL HOUSE where OTTER says to FLOUNDER, "Y ou f____ed up....You trusted us!"Well you are FLOUNDER and OTTER represents your institutionalized GOP buddies. When your plan to DESTROY MEDICARE(class warfare) runs it's course and your GOP buddies admit it was always a bad idea, YOU, PAULIE, will be made to take the fall. So take my advise. Stash your CORPORATE DONATIONS. Accept one of those lucrative lobbying jobs & "start drinking heavily."
