Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Chapter 5 Trial #4 [Mirror Puzzle/2:30 Minutes]

== Here is a series of video guides I've made for the special stage trials in LoS. Most of them are quite simple, but some -- not so much. So check 'em out if you're having difficulties completing any of them. ==


Chapter: 5

Trial #: 4

Stage: Abbey Library

Objective: Solve the mirror/light puzzle within 2 minutes and 30 seconds and complete the stage.

Comment/s: This trial is time-based(obviously) and can be very tricky. The idea here is to solve the puzzle in the least amount of time possible -- so you must know exactly what you need to do and in what order. There is absolutely no room for errors in this trial -- EVERY second counts. So strategize/coordinate your every move and do a few practice runs first if you need to. You probably won't succeed on your first attempt.

Helpful Advice: Try switching the difficulty to an easier one if you're having a tough time with these trials, it should make things ALOT easier. But if you're looking for a serious challenge then stick to Knight/Paladin.

More "CV-LoS Designer = not sure if trolling or stupid": at 0:10 (and other moments) the timer CONTINUES to run during the cutscenes, so it's really to the players' advantage to SKIP these cutscenes as part of their actual fucking strategy! -_-

I swear I must've watched this a good twenty times at least.

I swear that the Gremlins make this much harder than it is. So do the sudden changes in camera angles. So does the occasional trickiness of triggering or running around in a sprint.

I finished with less than a second left on the clock and I am so mad because I blew so much time having to put up with silly crap that was no fault of my own.

Finally did it!! This is by far the most annoying trial. If youre still having trouble, just try and make it to the 3rd set of mirrors(where the devil things first attack) with no less than 1:30 left. From there you can just reload the checkpoint till you get a perfect run. Turning the mirrors correctly/fast is key This video was a big help. Thanks!
